Germany to filter Child Pornography; NGOs Warn Of Unintended Impact

Can governments control flow of information via Internet? Should the Internet remain fully uncensored? These are some of the biting questions troubling stakeholders in the IT industry globally.

China is already a foregone case when it comes to Internet censorship. Infact the country has turned its Internet to an Intranet. Recently the country cracked down on YouTube

But seemingly too, Germany has stepped up  fight of censoring ‘disturbing’ content in the Internet. The Deutsch government aims to fight Child Pornography but the action is raising a storm. Read more here
