Kenya halves Visa fees to attract tourists

picture-1144The  week-long International toursm fair in Berlin closed yesterday with  Kenya promising to halve visa fees to attract more tourists.

After a devastating violence at the beginning of  last year,2007, Kenya’s tourism fortunes nose dived. But seemingly the country is geared to reclaim its lost glory and hopes are high that tourism arrivals will make a 100 per cent comeback this year.

Tourism minister Najib Balala made this optimistc and  bold prediction  at ITB foreseeing  this year’s visitor figure to match the record-breaking 2007 performance. See more here
